 Packard was weathering the Depression as well as could be hoped at the time of this car抯 construction. Cars were selling and men were employed.  The Fourteenth Series Packard catalog included the 120, Eight, Super Eight and Twelve models. That meant that there was a very broad price range beginning below $1,000 and topping out above $6,000. Some argued that Packard traded away its exclusivity, but that was the cost of survival.
