 Packard was weathering the Depression as well as could be hoped at the time of this car`s construction. Cars were selling and men were employed.  The Fourteenth Series Packard catalog included the 120, Eight, Super Eight and Twelve models. That meant that there was a very broad price range beginning below $1,000 and topping out above $6,000. Some argued that Packard traded away its exclusivity, but that was the cost of survival.
